Volta Regime Music Group (VRMG) Boss Edem shocked a lot of fans and industry gurus last year when he dropped a single with the provocative title of ‘Toto’.
‘Toto’, for those who don’t know is the Ga word for ‘pu$$y’, and certainly having a song with that title is meant to grab attention immediately.
The controversies surrounding the monies accrued from the tribute concert organised in memory of the late Ebony Reigns keeps unfolding with a lot of ‘fire’. The father of the late dancehall diva, Mr Poku ‘Starboy’ Kwarteng has alleged on various media platforms that the former manager of his daughter, Bullet, cheated him out of the profit he got from the tribute concert they organised in her memory.
One name which has sprung up in the new controversy, Edem, the boss of the VRMG label is not taking the mention of his name lightly. Edem’s name was added as a part of the list of disbursement of money to artistes who performed at Ebony’s tribute concert.
Edem has finally dropped the official video to accompany his recent collaboration with Nigerian crooner Sheyi Shay, ‘Ride With Me.’
The single was Edem’s first of the year and he’s wasted little time in dropping the video as well.
‘Solo’ hitmaker Article Wan gets together with Edem on this new single ‘Yen Papi’.
The song, released under his Mingle music label, is produced by Article Wan himself.
