CELEB STYLE: Juliet Ibrahim Goes For The Quirky But Stylish Look | You Can GRAB It Too!

Juliet Ibrahim
Juliet Ibrahim

With a look that says, quirky but stylish, actress/producer Juliet Ibrahim was recently spotted in a super cool red plaid/tartan leggings.

It’s a bold look that takes someone daring and confident to pull off. Juliet has cleverly teamed up the leggings with a smart black blouse and a pair of black leather loafers.

The black sets off the chunky gold jewellery, although  I’m thinking the outfit  would look a whole lot better without the bling-a-ling animal print sports hat that clashes the patterned red leggings. But overall it a hot look! By the way, I want that tote burgundy BAG!!! Do we love it?

Other celebrities such as Singer/Actress Christina Milian have also rocked the plaid pattern look. The trick is to wear the leggings or trousers with black to pull the look together.

If you’re looking for a trendy, unique but affordable way to brighten up your winter wardrobe, plaid/tartan is the perfect way to add a splash of colour and character amongst all the blacks, browns and grey that take over our winter wardrobes.

Check out the below ideas from your UK high street for how to put together inspirations for this look…

BG: Oprah Winfrey Says She Refused To Get ‘Buck Naked’ On Screen

Oprah

From BeyondGossip.Com

Unlike some young desperate actresses, Oprah Winfrey, one of the most powerful women in the world has declared she would not be stripping off her lingerie to get ‘buck naked’ on screen.

The billionaire TV tsarina and occasional actress made this comment when she was speaking about her role in director Lee Daniels’s movie-The Butler, in which she plays Gloria, wife of a White House butler played by Forest Whitaker.

According to Oprah, in the movie, Gloria becomes bored with her middle-class life while her husband’s off looking after ‘that other family in the White House’.

And after a while Gloria starts to drink, and fools around with a neighbour, played by Terrence Howard.

She continued that director-Lee Daniels would have preferred her to go much further during her scenes with Howard. ‘You know, he would have had me buck naked on that sofa if I had let him!’ she told a MailOnline reporter…

I Am Stuck With A Man I Do Not Love & Surely It Is All My FAULT | GC Reader Shares Her Life Experience

A young black woman

More often than not, many young girls like me buy into the concept of giving relationships a try. And we say to ourselves that, with time the love will set in but what we fail to ask is this; what if the love never develops or falls in?

Five years ago, I was a young beautiful woman with the world at my feet and ready to explore my options as an African woman. I have always been opened to dating all race—-as long as the man is decent enough to treat me well.

It was during my peak season of dating that I met the Dad of my 4 year baby-Leslie, who I love so much but on the other hand, Leslie is the glue sticking me to a situation I find repulsive.

When I met my baby’s father, I knew from his dealings he loved me and still loves me but I had no drop of love for him—yet decided to play along under the assumption that the love will come.

Less than 6 months, I got pregnant and then had Leslie who has been a total blessing to me. But I still do not love this man who sleeps by me each night, tries to cuddle me each night and pays all the attention to me each time of the day.

I try as much as I can to respond, to fake love and to let the father of my baby feel loved but how long can I continue to do this? How long can I continue to deceive him,  deceive myself and eventually Leslie?

It is such reports which make some us say; Libya, no matter how bad it was under Muammar Gaddafi was far better than without him.

The people are far insecure than ever and without any strong central authority to take up the Militia, the chaos will continue…

According to CNN;

At least 31 people were killed and nearly 300 injured on Friday in the bloodiest day in the Libyan capital since the fall of Tripoli in 2011, according to figures released by the government.

Fighting broke out after protesters marched on the Tripoli headquarters of militias from the coastal city of Misrata.

Protesters and eyewitnesses said militiamen opened fire on the hundreds who marched on Gharghour, a southern district of the capital where Misrata militia are based, in an effort to evict the armed groups.

TV footage aired on the privately owned al-Nabaa channel showed militiamen, in what appeared to be an antiaircraft cannon mounted on a truck, opening fire directly at protesters.

The situation escalated into an armed confrontation that lasted for hours as protesters returned with weapons and militiamen from different parts of the capital.
