Personally, I don’t know the truth behind these claims made by a certain woman who wrote to GhanaCelebrities.Com to find out if indeed Majid Michel is a divorcee, saying that, she wanted to know because Majid Michel has been talking dirty with her sister. In fact, she claims her sister and Majid Michel are in a relationship—chopping things down.

According to the USA based Ghanaian, the sister somehow seems to believe Majid Michel what Majid told her (that it is over with him and his wife) and therefore she wanted to find out if indeed Majid Michel is divorced as he claims.

GhanaCelebrities.Com got back in contact with woman with the below words…

“Hello Christy,

From what I reliably know, Majid Michel is still married to his wife and they do not have any problems. I will be interested in this relationship he is looking for from your sister…

Any more info on it?“

And then, she replied us by saying;

“Well, he finally admitted to her that he’s still married, but is in the process of ending his marriage…whatever that means. I think he’s telling her lies, but she’s ignoring them because she likes the idea of communicating with him.

I would say more, but she doesn’t want to be put on blast. I told her that you were a no non-sense, zero tolerance type of guy. Maybe I’ll be able to give you more information, in the future.

Majid told my sister that because of the comment he made about there being no movie industry in Ghana, he has been banned from acting or releasing his movies in Ghana. He said that he has to pay thousands of US dollars in fines, in order to release his movies.”

Whether the woman’s claims are true or false, I want us to look at something beyond Majid Michel and her alleged off marriage relationship with this woman’s sister. We’ve had and heard of instances when certain male Ghanaian celebrities are said to have cash in from women (duped them), under the pretense of being in a love relationship with these women. And mostly, these women are based abroad…

Before Italy’s crash with England on Saturday at the 2014 World Cup, Mario ‘Bawuah’ Balotelli has decided to spark excitement in his love life, by proposing to his Belgian model girlfriend-Fanny Neguesha. And she said YES! Of course, she will say yes…

To let his fans know about his joy, Balotelli posted a note on his Instagram page saying “She said yes. The m-ost important yes in my life.”

He added a picture of a romantic beach setting and wrote “That was the place of my question! I Love you and happy birthday too!”

Excited Balotelli did not end there, he wanted us to see what he gave out so he also posted a picture of a diamond ring presumably on Neguesha’s hand. Congrats Mario! Now go show the world you are a talented footballer…

My Thoughts on Ghana-South Korea Match | Comprehensive Victory Should Leave Fans Cautiously Optimistic

Yesterday, the Black Stars sealed a comprehensive 4-0 win over South Korea in their final warm-up game in Miami to ensure they leave for Brazil in buoyant mood.

It was a totally dominant win, in which South Korea was outplayed in all aspects of the game and which showcased the ability of the Stars to crush their opposition on their best days. All over the country, the win has rekindled waning optimism over the chances of the team and all of a sudden the Black Stars seem unbeatable in the eyes of many.

There is a tendency to read too much into these friendly games which we must be careful to eschew. Before this game, after the woeful performance in the 1-0 loss to Netherlands, there was also a disproportionate amount of pessimism over the team’s chances. Neither reaction is accurate, as always the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

So what’s the truth? The truth is that this team is immensely talented, particularly across midfield and attack. Even much aligned Jordan Ayew was a hero in the last game, whilst the least experienced call-ups such as Afriyie Acquah, Majeed Warris, Christian Atsu, and Rabiu Mohammed all possess raw ability that cannot be denied. Complement this with the experience of Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari, Asamoah Gyan, Kevin Boateng and their like; and you have a team with a balance of youth and experience that can on their best day, go toe to toe with any side in world football.

What Do Jay-Z, Dr. Dre and Ghana’s E.L Have in Common?

For the past few years, we have been witnessing a remarkable “transformation” of the African music industry. We hear of Forbes’ list of the top 10 riches African musicians, endorsement deals with multinational corporations, MTV Africa Music Awards, international collaborations and other staggering developments.

Many African artists are on the hunt for universal recognition with special focus on being accepted in the African-American music scene. And yet, even with their tremendous and commendable efforts, it is still not common for anyone to watch or listen to P-Square feat. Rick Ross’s Beautiful Oyinye or D’banj feat. Kanye West’s Scape Goat on mainstream European and North American television or commercial radio.

As much as African artist are aggressively shooting for fame, the millionaires’ club and a global fan base, it is not particularly clear whether they are even ready for such a great leap. Given the accomplishment of many African-American music icons (e.g. they have their own record labels, a number of artists they manage, they sell merchandises & own other ventures ), it is only natural to hear the majority of African musicians talk about their dream of becoming like them.

For instance, during an interview with TOF TV in Toronto, Canada, the award-winning Ghanaian rapper E.L told the TV host that he looks up to Jay-Z and Dr. Dre. “Those [ Jay-Z and Dr. Dre] are the epitome of what that whole music thing is about. They have taken it to that level so of course I strive to be as good as them” , he proclaims. Last week, I got the shock of my life when I realized my girlfriend with whom I stay with at Portsmouth-UK has been lying to me all this while.

We’ve been together for 1 year now and she got pregnant about 2 months ago. We all agreed that abortion was our best option since she has just started a nursing degree and I am also currently out of work after I was made redundant in December.

When we booked an appointment to see a doctor for the procedure, she insisted she goes alone and did not want me to come with her. On the day of the actual procedure, she was asked to bring someone so I went with her.

Two weeks about the abortion procedure while she had gone to school, a letter came from the first doctor she went to see and I didn’t even know what it was until I opened it. We open one another’s letter as we leave together. Whoever is at home when the post comes does the opening.

In the letter, the health centre had written to telling her to come for a contraceptive they talked about as the number of procedures she has had is far too much, capable of affecting her having babies in the future. And that they will not go ahead of another procedure in the future except after extensive consideration, therefore, her best option is to go for a contraceptive from her GP.

I started shaking after reading the letter because my girlfriend told me this was her first and last abortion.

Ghana 4-0 South Korea: Jordan Ayew Steals the Show as Ghana Mauls South Korea

The Black Stars comprehensively thrashed South Korea 4-0 in a friendly that served as both sides final preparatory game before the World Cup kicks off on June 12, 2014.

A stunning hat-trick from youngster-Jordan Ayew and a low drive just before half time from Asamoah Gyan sealed the comfortable win in a game held in hot and humid conditions in the Sun Life Stadium in Miami.

During the week, coach Kwesi Appiah had hinted that Kwadwo Asamoah and Michael Essien might occasionally be called on to fill in at the back, and the starting line-up named by the manager had Kwadwo Asamoah as the side’s left back.

The game started in a far too lively fashion, as after barely 3 minutes, Ki Sung-Yeung was booked after viciously hacking down Majid Warris, who was unable to continue and had to be replaced by Jordan Ayew.

The younger Ayew wasted little time in making his presence felt, as in the 11^th minute he gave Ghana the lead after good work down the left flank by his elder brother.

Andre ran down the left flank, and sent in a low cross which Jordan connected with, beating the goalkeeper via a slight deflection off Ki.

The goal however barely lifted the game out of its scrappy nature as both sides failed to string too many passes together. South Korea gained a great chance in the 15^th minute, striker Lee Chu Young cutting in and narrowly missing with his low drive.

Ghana fashioned a few half chances as the game wore on, but South Korea remained the better side, and a prolonged spell of pressure just before half time almost yielded an equaliser.
