Who doesn’t remember US man-George Zimmerman? The Florida man who was acquitted in the death of teenager Trayvon Martin…

He is involved in another shooting but this time Zimmerman was on the receiving end of the gun, and suffered a minor injury, says, Lake Mary Police.

Apparently, during a confrontation with a driver, George Zimmerman was shot in the face but was lucky and only sustained minor injuries, reports WFTV. Police also say it appears to be a “road rage incident,” according to WRBW.

Zimmerman gained global notoriety after the 2012 shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in what became known as a “Stand Your Ground” case, despite the fact that the defense did not use that argument during his trial.

Zimmerman, the self-appointed neighborhood watchman claimed self-defense when he shot the unarmed teen to death in February 2012 in a gated Sanford in Florida.

Though the prosecutor-John Guy made strong legal points like; “The defendant didn’t shoot Trayvon Martin because he had to – he shot him because he wanted to….That’s the bottom line”, Zimmerman walked off as a FREE man!

Outside the court at the time, supporters of Trayvon reacted with disappointment and anger. Some chanted and held up a large banner saying “End racial oppression”.

George Zimmerman seems to have a problem law as today’s shooting is not his first encounter with the law this year— in January, he was arrested for aggravated assault against his girlfriend, but she later recanted her story. He was not charged in the incident.

On social media, some are shouting Karma is a b*tch for the shot Zimmerman received. He doesn’t seem to have a lot of good friends on social media…
