KKD Puts Ghanaian Journalists On Blast For Asking Stale Questions At The President’s Press Conference

President John Dramani Mahama, who has been running a near failed state for the past few years; took to a podium on Tuesday for a press briefing with the Ghanaian media and people.
After a few hours of saying whatever he pleased, it came time for the question and answer session. Yet reporters who were there to represent the people in the limited time slot they had immediately became star struck when handed a microphone- asking inane and banal questions of the President who has more to answer for than any since constitutional rule was restored in 1993.
Ghanaians have already expressed their dissatisfaction with that kind of glaring sycophancy, perhaps unfairly piling all that on public enemy number one Nana Aba Anamoah ; but it is not just the ordinary Ghanaian who is not happy.
KKD appeared on the Starr Chat Wednesday morning, and expressed similar disappointment with the Ghanaian media. He told Nii Arday Clegg that whilst he believes the President acquitted himself well, most of the assembled journalists did not.
“I thought the President did a good job speaking very calmly and very clearly…my greatest disappointment, however, was with our journalists.
“There was a bit grandstanding on the side of the journalists and you could tell very clearly that people had come there with predetermined questions instead of listening to what the President had to say,” hesaid.
According to him, with most of the questions sounding predetermined, the journalists rather than going ahead to ask those should have adapted and formulated new questions based on the speech they had just heard.
