Charterhouse Ghana, the organisers of the biggest awards show in Ghana, Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has dumped Broadcaster Kofi Okyere Darko aka KOD and picked Chairman General, Kwame Sefa-Kayi as the host for the 2019 VGMA according to a report by 3news.
According to the report, Kwame Sefa-Kayi has accepted to take the mantle and host the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
Broadcaster and host of Starr FM’s ‘Starr Drive’, Kofi Okyere Darko popularly known as KOD has been confirmed by Charterhouse as the host for the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards slated for Saturday, May 18, 2019, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
Excited KOD in an interview on Starr FM said;
The veteran Ghanaian hiplife group Praye are engaged in a war of words with organizers of the annual VGMAs, Charterhouse.
Praye’s anger stems from being unable to land even one nomination for this year’s awards, which led to the group slamming Charterhouse which in turn elicited a response from their communications manager, George Quaye.
