Lynx Entertainment has officially confirmed that, Asem has been dropped from the label as a result of recent events surrounding him and his career as a musician. What are the recent events surrouding Asem?

If you care to know,Asem has been in the media recently for allegedly drugging and raping  a certain 16 year old Senior High School girl. The ” Give Me Blow” hit maker has denied this allegation and has threatened a defamatory lawsuit against the various media outlets which carried the rape story. However, his label thinks there is no need to have him on board again…

As to why Asem was dropped, Lynx Entertainment stated that,  “Lynx Entertainment and Asem have had differences in opinion as to the direction his career should go; For the past few months, Asem has been under a new management and certain decisions taken by the artist and his new management have not represented the general image the record label wishes to portray; and Lynx Entertainment also feels that keeping Asem on the label could limit him from pushing his career in the direction that he sees fit”.

What is next for Asem? If all celebrities would be critically looked at and dropped like this if they find themselves in uncompromising situations in Ghana, it would be great and a lesson teaching to others to mind the GAP before they jump into doing certain things in society….
