One of the world’s reputable film festivals ‘Cannes’ has gotten vibrant and more colourful this year with appearances by African movie makers and celebrities. By kind courtesy of Ghana Movie Awards’ organizers, some of the last year’s Awards winners from Ghana are currently in France to experience and be part of the one of the world’s biggest film festivals…
Nadia Buari, Majid Michel, John Dumelo, Fred Nuamah, Juliet Ibrahim, Abdul Sallam and others are out France to catch the Cannes’ fever. Our celebs are not hiding in the dark out there, in fact, they are gracing red carpets from far with the Gh glamour…LOL
Check out the photos below…
Cool pix. But whr are they gracing the red carpet? I see them just standing there posing.
loool kr
Nadia luks gud but was that really a red carpet event?
@Adjoa, my question exactly. And they look like they were at one of the forums in one of the nose bleed sections
whichever a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step.
Nice pix..Nadia is looking gud..where r de rest of de pix??didn’t c John,Juliet etc..red carpet??n Nadia didn’t really dress up??
yea cici ..am not feeling her hair ..and the dress didnt fit for the event ..though i knw ma girl can do better .. the casual look good though but not suitable for the event …
Exactly mother, not suitable for de event..I dunno if dey just happened to b der or sumthg..ba she definitely look gud..
I am from the Caribbean n have been an avid fan of ghanian movies.Although Nadia is an exceptional actress I believe when it comes to the Hollywood scene she doesn’t quite cut it if she is judged by her appearance n physique. In hollywood Nadia Buaris are a dime a dozen. I believe Yvonne Nelsons multi-dimensional look paired with her suburb acting abilities may enhance her chances of breaking that glass ceiling.the Ghana movie industry has been doing a great job, keep it up.
who need your opinion ?just think of yourself they are all doing good for themselves.one does not need holywood to excell in life it is this same local that has brought them this far.
@Dan: RUDE ASS!
Loool nadia!! she needs to check out for a beautician cuz her be so dry these days. NOT CUTE!!
@Revo, thank you. Sometimes ppl are afraid of the truth. You spoke well. You keep it up don’t worry abt what ppl want to say about your opinion. Thx ma
D-Black has been nominated for the 2011 BET Awards…
THATS NEWS!!!
did u say red carpet? ok no problem maybe they went there to watch Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitts and the rest but not to pose for the papparezzies
that is real funny like ur comments
Dang Nadia…what’s up with the outfit and the hair and no make up? Not feelin’ her here but good they were there…it’s all about the exposure!
why are ppl so interested in the “red carpet” thing? I believe they had fun, red carpet or no red carpet. so let them be!
Ummm Dan or whateva u call urself I doubt if the ghanian film industry shared this lazy attitude of urs to settle n not pursue excellence they wouldn’t be where they are right now.I was simply airing my opinion,I believe that whatever u do in life u ought to try to push urself n to excel at it.
what is nadia wearing she looks like an ordinary cheap girl. is that what you where at an event. and dont get it twisted with the cannes film festival, cause the real hollywood stars ar at the other location of cannes
CAN MAJID STOP WEARING BLACK ..
yea always see him in black suit most of the time on the red carpet …enough of it …lol
Oh good…maybe they will learn a thing or two from watching all those movies, lord knows they need it LMAO
They are certainly not dressed for a redcarpet event maybe is another event in France . By the way where are the other actors ? I thought only actors from Ghana that one awards were to go for the festival, why am I seeing a photo of a white man and Salam adbuld?
Nadia love her to bits but man she should of made more effort now, her hair is sooooooooooo not on point a bit of lip gloss too girlfriend.
