The long wait will be over soon as Obour hints a come back to active music making!
The veteran Musician, who won the seat as the President of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) in 2011, has not been doing active music but the good news for his fans is that Obour is coming back…
Bice Osei Kuffour as he is known in private life, disclosed to Hitz News in an interview at the launch of ‘Musicians time With God’—an event which is said to connect musicians and industry players with God that;
“I tried to record sometime but I’ve not been able to record because I gave myself a four year break but, should I be elected again as MUSIGA president, this next term will be a music filled term, I would release songs”.
He continued; “we want the power of God to be there, because the music industry is God’s ministry and many people are losing sight of it so we created this platform for the music industry to connect to God.”
“We wanted to have this event last year at the Independence Square but costing and budgeting was taking us close to a million Ghana cedis to organise this event so the committee decided that we adjust our budget for a limited cost,” Obour said.
Obour will battle with Appiah Dankwa, aka Appietus and Gyedu Blay-Ambolley in the presidential race of the upcoming MUSIGA delegates’ elections slated for October 29- 31 in Koforidua.
