T.B Joshua’s Terror Prophecy Is ‘Prophetic Scaremonegering’ And ‘Highly Irresponsible’- Kweku Baako Jnr

The editor in chief of the Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako Jnr, has described the recent prophecy by Prophet T.B Joshua claiming a terrorist attack is likely to hit Ghana as being in poor taste.
The veteran journalist was speaking on Peace Fm’s Morning Show Wednesday when he passed the comments. He tore into the Nigerian preacher, describing his alleged prophecy as designed to cause fear and panic.
“All this is prophetic scaremongering. I think the prophecy is highly irresponsible. The way and manner in which this matter has been communicated is so irresponsible.” He said.
“There is a general terror alert out there and we are trying to deal with things based on intelligence gathering, then suddenly pastors are intruding with this wild cat prophecies of this nature. It destabilizes rather than build up security consciousness,” he added.
T.B Joshua in a sermon last Sunday had told his congregation that he foresees a possible terrorist attack on Ghana or Nigeria very soon, asking his congregation to pray vigorously against it. He mentioned either a Thursday, Friday or Saturday as the days for the attack.
As we have pointed out, activities in the sub-region makes such an attack a matter of course anyway, so this is just another attempt by this charlatan to capitalise on the gullibility of his followers. And as Kweku Baako mentioned, authorities are already getting prepared for that eventuality, and Joshua’s proclamation just muddies the waters and interferes with their plans.
