The accident occurred during the return journey of the President from the Eastern Region, where he had been on his so-called ‘Accounting to the People’ tour.
The Toyota Land Cruiser vehicle, part of the convoy and assigned to reporters, was involved in the accident around Etsi Amanfrom and Abodekpe
The vehicle’s four occupants sustained injuries, and were treated by the medical team that travels with the President.
Communications Minister Edward Omane Boamah confirmed the news of the accident to Adom Fm Friday.
