Ghana legends Stephen Appiah and Richard Kingson are making a return to the team they led to the top of world football after rumours of their impending return were seemingly confirmed.
Appiah has been tapped as the Black Stars new team manager under Kwesi Appiah, whilst Olele is set become the team’s new goalkeepers’ trainer.
When news of Kwesi Appiah’s appointment broke, the local sports media was filled with reports of returns for Appiah and Kingson.
Those appointments have now been confirmed, more reports claim.
Aside these two, former Stars player Ibrahim Tanko is set to join Maxwell Konadu as one of two assistants for Kwesi Appiah, whilst the coach has reportedly requested a physical trainer who has yet to be appointed.
Kwesi Appiah officially took charge of the Black Stars on May 1 and has a mandate to qualify the team to the 2018 World Cup as well as the 2019 African Cup.
