Citi Fm presenter Jessica Opare Saforo has indicted celebrities in Ghana and admitted that most of them cannot really be described by that tag.
According to her, a celebrity is someone who even when they move out of the house are mobbed by fans and they can’t even have any breathing space.
Per that standard, Jessica said many of the social media ashawobrities, slay queens and others we have tagged as celebrities should never be described as such.
She named Shatta Wale as one of the only few true celebrities we have.

“There are very few celebrities in Ghana. A true celebrity can’t step out on the street without being mobbed by fans. And in Ghana one person we can call ‘celebrity’ is Shatta Wale. Let him step out and see how many people will follow him. That is a celebrity,” she said.
