The Deputy Minister of Communication, George Andah, has reportedly been involved in an accident in the Central Region.
Andah, who doubles as MP for Awutu Senya West Constituency, was back home carrying out his duties when the accident occurred earlier today (Saturday).
According to myjoyonline, the MP’s car collided head on with another car, injuring all five members of his vehicle.
The accident occurred around Awutu-Budumburam, with his car colliding with a tipper truck fully loaded with sand.
According to reports, the NPP Minister was seriously injured in the crash and has been airlifted to the 37 Military Hospital for emergency care.
The driver of the tipper truck and the other four occupants of Andah’s car also sustained serious injuries.
