The premiere date for the 8th and final season of Game of Thrones has finally been released by HBO, who also released the first official trailer for the upcoming season.
After two full years of waiting (the show went on hiatus in 2018), fans just cannot wait for this season to kick off.
In the new trailer released by HBO, the Starks of Winterfell – Arya, Jon and Sansa – are all down in the crypts visiting the statues of their departed family members.

However, danger is imminent for the Starks who have to defend their home.
At the end of the clip, the premiere date is finally unveiled — April 14th 2019.
