‘Stop Making Unnecessary Noise Because You Did Nothing To Deserve VGMA’s Nomination’ — Showbiz Pundit Fires Praye

Popular Ghanaian singing trio, Praye was in the news complaining about Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) nomination list that was released a few days ago where their group was snubbed.

Entertainment pundit and CEO of Ghanafuo.com, David Mawuli, however, has released fire on Praye telling them to stop making unnecessary noise because they did nothing better to deserve a nomination.

According to David Mawuli, for the fact Ghana Music Industry doesn’t have enough singing group, does not mean Praye should be nominated even when they’ve done nothing to deserve it.

He added that there were some artistes who performed very well yet they got their a$$es snubbed hence Praye should keep quiet, work harder and improve on their performances.

He said this on his Facebook page a few hours ago: “We know that some deserving artistes were snubbed at the year’s VGMA but Praye wasn’t snubbed. They did nothing to merit a nod.

“The fact that we have fewer groups doesn’t mean the board should nominate any group kɛkɛ. Otherwise, Dark Suburb, Galaxy, Chogu Boys, et al will equally be nominated. It won’t be competitive — just bɔla nominations.

“Let’s be honest, this is not the Praye we used to vibe with. They are very weak. They should rather invest the back and forth energy into their craft and find new ways of adapting to the new system,” he posted.
