Former UK High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin, has opened his ‘big mouth’ again to wade into the Ghana-Naija ‘jollof wars’.
There’s no issue Benjamin does not have an opinion on, so when the Ghana-Naija jollof war was recently rekindled on Twitter, he waded in with his opinion.

Benjamin said Ghana jollof is far superior to Nigeria’s – using a football analogy.
Ghana jollof apparently is equivalent to a Champions League level club, the highest level of European club football – whilst Nigerian jollof is equivalent to League One level – the lowly third tier of English football.
His verdict is no contest – comparing the two would be like comparing Michael Jackson to Pappy Kojo.
