For some time the calls have intensified on Ghanaians to support their own artists in their endeavours. People like Archipalago, Shatta Wale and Sista Afia, among others have added their voice to this call. Wendy Shay has also consistently led this cause. While many believe it is a step in the right direction, there are many who are also of the view that Ghanaian Musicians are not trying hard enough like their Nigerian counterparts to push their brand.
