Ghana’s self-proclaimed king of comedy, Derrick Kobina Bonney aka DKB has been dealt a massive humiliation after only 8% of Ghanaians who voted in a twitter poll thought he was Ghana’s best comedian.
His colleague Clemento Suarez dominated the poll, receiving close to 83% of the vote to win a landslide victor as Ghana’s favourite comic.

Other comedians who received a beating in the poll include Lawyer Nti and O.B Amponsah.
The Twitter account of mobile telecom giants MTN decided to hold this poll, asking Ghanaians who their favourite comedian is not knowing they were about to hand DKB a massive humiliation.
The poll from MTN read: “Y’ello Twitter fans. Tell us which one of these comedians is your favourite,”
Options included DKB, Clemento Suarez, Lawyer Nti and O.B Amponsah.

DKB, despite his constant bragging as the ‘King’ of Ghanaian comedy, got his butt kicked big time, losing in a landslide to Clemento.
The poll started last night and runs for another 3 hours so maybe the DKB fans are yet to see it lol.
There’s still time for him to make a comeback…
