Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo is set to return to jail after her appeal against her 90-day jail term was dismissed.
The High Court in Accra heard her appeal today, December 1st 2021.
Presiding Judge Ruby Aryeetey refused Poloo’s appeal and upheld the decision of the Circuit Court which jailed her.
Akuapem Poloo was jailed for 90-days earlier this year after she was charged with publication of obscene materials and other charges for taking a n*de photo with her son.

She appealed the ruling to the High Court and hence her sentence was placed on hold pending the appeal.
Today, the appeal was heard and dismissed.
According to the High Court judge, the initial sentence was not over excessive hence she sees no need to overturn it.
“This court will not interfere and the appeal is therefore dismissed,” Justice Aryee said.
Akuapem Poloo will therefore resume serving her sentence.
The judge has also ruled that in her absence, her child should be given to any family member who is competent enough to take care of the kid.
Unfortunately for Poloo, she’s going back to jail!
Other celebs such as Shatta Wale and Medikal also have similar pending legal issues.
For now, the celebs must get the message that some of their stunts can have consequences when it goes too far!
