What Could Be “Behind” Michael Essien’s Long Injury, Pouring Out The Minds Of Some People.

blank

I have wanted to gist up on this so we can all share our minds, but have been busy with my  end of semester examination. Now that university is on 3 months break, be expecting more “gisting” and celebrity bashing from me.

Somewhere last month, I visited a popular Ghanaian Kenkey Joint in London and as I was waiting for my 2 pairs of kenkey, I over heard 4 Ghanaian guys “gisting” about the possible “spirits” behind Michael Essien’s injury. This is not just a mere injury, it is a career ending injury, the tall black guy sitting far left in his loud voice said.

The argument between these folks was full of speculations and unfounded beliefs; however some of their sayings had some element of pragmatism in them. One of the guys strongly argued on the lines of Karma.  In the nut shell, his arguments were that, whatever one does in this world, Karma throws it back at him. He said, Do you think after sadly ditching that pretty actress for no apparent reason, he will have the strength and legs to play football again? I guess he was refering to  Nadia Buari’s ditch by Essien.

Then, the issue of Akosua Puni was chipped him, the other guy also said, not only is Essien facing the Karma of life in relation to that actress, how on earth will he be messing with Akosua Puni when he is aware of all the alleged misfortunes that follow any of the guys who have dated her. Gosh, that is too harsh!.
