The 2018 edition of the All African Music Awards (AFRIMA) came off last night, Saturday, November 24, 2018, at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) and as usual, fashion was fully displayed on the red carpet of the event.
The red carpet session saw a host of African celebrities show off what they’ve got in their wardrobes and trust me, the glam on the red carpet shows how fashionable African celebrities, as well as Ghanaian celebrities, have become.
In a society highly dominated by traditions, it’s always a must for people to pay their last respect to a dead body in an open casket ─be it the corpse of a prominent person or a “nobody”.
The casket is only closed when the deceased died through a gory accident where some vital parts of the body were missing or chopped off ─even with that, the family would try all possible means to display the corpse in an open casket for the people that matter to pay their last respect.

Ghanaian radio and television icon, Berla Mundi together with actor John Dumelo will be the hosts of the night at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Awards, VGMA’s.
Berla Mundi will this time around hand over the red carpet host baton to another host yet to be announced by the VGMAs organizers.
Ghanaian hiplife artiste, Wisa Greid who is in court for allegedly showing his pen*s to audience at Citi FM’s 2015 ‘Decemba 2 Rememba’ concert held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) has told an Accra Circuit Court that what the audience saw wasn’t his real pen*s but rather a dildo (artificial pen*s).
Wisa Greid opening his defence in court said:
The Accra International Conference Centre hosts the 2017 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Saturday night (April 8) – and the venue is being set up for the biggest night in Gh music.
Organisers Charterhouse are apparently pulling all the stops to present a better show than some of the sh*tshows we’ve been forced to witness throughout the years.
