The District Chief Executive (DCE) of the Upper Denkyira West District, Daniel Appianin has said military men have invaded Denkyira-Obuasi in the Central Region beating up residents in the area following the lynching of Maxwell Mahama.
According to the DCE, the military men had taken about 80 men hostage, while women and children have been camped in a church in the town.
The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has pledged to the family of the lynched soldier, Capt. Maxwell Mahama, that those involved in his murder would not go scot free.

We can’t have mob justice because a mob by definition aren’t using their brains, and more often than not they get the wrong person and brutalise them, or worse.
