Serena Williams has done it all.
The 21 time grand slam champion sizzles on the cover of the August issue of the New York Magazine, talking about several issues but especially concerning her life after tennis.
Serena has a fashion (athletic wear) line, which she said she got into because her sister Venus encouraged her to. Initially, she was dead set on being a designer of wedding dresses.
“That was my first real love,” she says, “but then I was like, Listen. I’m playing professional tennis. I’ll just do athleticwear.”
Serena also talks about her sizeable trophy collection:
“I have lots of trophies, and I’m just — I’m not that person that needs to see all these trophies,” she said “I have some in my house here, some in my house there, some I don’t know what happened to ’em. I have my grand-slam trophies … somewhere.”
Serena talks on much more in the piece, which you can read here. But really, ain’t the photos the real story here?
Enjoy…
