Wendy Shay has once again sparked a monster controversy, following in the footsteps of her predecessor Ebony Reigns who was always in the headlines for the wrong reasons.
The difference is Ebony was a massive talent who upon every thing she did, could still entertain Ghanaians like no other whenever she took to the stage. People couldn’t stand her and thought she was immoral, a wh*re or whatever bad word you want to use but her singing career itself was a sensation which could not be denied.
Wendy Shay is far from that level and the attempt to use controversies to prop her up is not working very well. Even worse, displaying her barely disguised stupidity with the MzGee saga has turned a whole lot of people off her.
The king of Gh rap, Sarkodie, has waded into the controversy, releasing a statement via social media.
According to the man who has often been described as ‘arrogant’ himself, Wendy Shay made a mistake and should be pardoned.

Sarkodie said she might have made a mistake in the heat of the moment and decided to apologize on behalf of Shay to Joy News and MzGee.
Wendy Shay herself and RuffTown have not said anything about the issue since it occurred and we can already see they are enjoying the massive publicity coming out of it.
Sarkodie should save his words since the girl herself has shown no remorse.
