A French nurse-Dominique Cottrez who is accused of suffocating eight of her newborn babies is facing trial—but even though she admits killing these babies, she says she has a good defence.

Dominique Cottrez claims the children were the result of a long, incestuous relationship with her father.

The worst infanticide case in modern French history stunned the country when the babies were discovered in the family garden in Villers-au-Tertre, near Lille in 2010.

The 51-year-old grandmother faces spending the rest of her life in prison if she is found guilty.

It’s been a long day for Ghanaian football star-Asamoah Gyan and the 22-year-old University student-Sarah Kwabla who is seriously threatening to make public a secretly recorded video of a s*xual intercourse she had with Black Stars-Captain if the footballer does not pay up.

We have the 50 seconds video which you can watch below—but contrary to her claims, it’s just her doing a strip tease in her bed. Obviously, someone is behind the camera—doing the recording. We are not sure who it could be but there are speculations that it could be Asamoah Gyan.

Whatever it is, we have the video for you to watch and before you jump to it, this is a recap of how the story has developed so far.

**The 22 year old-Sarah Kwabla claims she secretly recorded Gyan chopping her down in February—but that is not all, she is now pregnant and she is demanding that Asamoah Gyan should get her a neatly furnished apartment, a housemaid and a monthly stipend of $1,000 for postnatal care. She also claims the footballer raped her.

**Asamoah Gyan’s lawyer-Kissi Adjarbeng has stated on radio that indeed Asamoah Gyan had s*x with this young lady but it was consensual—meaning, there was nothing like rape.

**The young woman claims Asamoah Gyan chopped her bum (sodomized her) during the intercourse without permission, that is where the whole rape allegation comes from. So it looks like she is saying, she only granted permission for her front to be chopped but after doing that, Asamoah Gyan allegedly moved to chop her backside too.

**Asamoah Gyan’s lawyer in relation to the rape has stated that, that is a total lie—that it is a blackmail from Sarah Kwabla.

**Sarah Kwabla claims she is pregnant for Asmaoah Gyan following their intercourse and as such Gyan has to provide for her upkeep. Gyan’s lawyer stated on radio today that the 22-year-old initially agreed on 2,000 cedis a month so he doesn’t understand the ridiculous amount she is seeking now.

This University Student-Sarah Kwabla and Asamoah Gyan’s rape/pregnancy issue is getting interesting—with the girl reportedly now saying, Asamoah Gyan did not just rape her, but he also sodomized her (chopped her backside).

Asamoah Gyan’s lawyer-Kissi Agyabeng says this is an attempt to blackmail the footballer—maintaining that the Asamoah Gyan has only consensual sex with the 22 year old girl.

As we reported earlier today, Nollywood actress-Stephanie Linus attended the Queen’s Young Leaders Award reception last night, set up by the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust in partnership with Comic Relief and the Royal Commonwealth Society.

She was invited and she attended with her husband-Linus Idahosa to be part of the guests who witnessed the Queen awarding 60 people for their contribution to humanity.

“Winners aged 18-29 were chosen from 35 Commonwealth countries, and as well as receiving their awards at Buckingham Palace they will David Cameron at Downing Street, visit Twitter and the BBC and take part in a two-day leadership course at Cambridge University,” writes The Telegraph.

Host of Peace fm’s Entertainment Review, Kwasi Aboagye, has expressed what he feels could be hindering musician Mzbel from telling the public who the father of her son is.

On Neat fm’s Entertainment Ghana today, 23^rd June, 2015, Kwasi, who feels Mzbel should just tell the public who the father of her son is, said “I suspect Mzbel got pregnant for a married man that is why she can’t tell the public who the father of her child is.

“She fears if she says it, it might bring problems. If she did not get pregnant for a married man, I see no reason why she can’t tell the public who the child’s father is.” Kwasi also made the point that, if Mzbel fails to tell the public who the child’s father is, this controversy will come again next time.

“This is not the first time Mzbel\s child’s father issue has come up. It came some years back and now here again. I feel she must come out now; else, it will come out 5 years to come.”

He also made the point that, he feels pastor Josh Lawyer can tell who the father of Mzbel’s child is.

In Other Developments:

UT Bank’s boss, Mr. Amoabeng was hosted exclusively on Joy FM and on the program, was asked if he is the father of Mzbel’s current son named Aaron. Mr. Amoabeng, who did not confirm nor deny having an intimate relationship with Mzbel, however denied having a child with her.

He said, “It is not true I have a kid with Mzbel.” The Johnny Walker ambassador, however, did not stop showering praises on her, describing her as “a very good person with a very nice personality.” Kofi Amoabeng also confirmed being “very close” with another TV personality on TV3, Nana Aba Anamoah.
