Ahead of tonight’s premiere of Zynell Zuh’s latest movie-Love Regardless at Silverbird Cinemas (Westhills Mall, Weija), GhanaCelebrities.Com caught up with actress Yvonne Okyere who featured in the movie—to tell us about her role in the movie and why fans should attend the premiere.

The premiere will be marked by a socialization event dubbed the ‘Love Regardless Celebrity Popcorn Sale’ where some celebrities will take over the sale of popcorn, tickets, and drinks at the mall whilst interacting and taking pictures with movie patrons.

The movie which has been released on irokotv has gotten people who paid to watch the new movie online saying interesting things about it, with some describing it as the best Ghanaian movie so far.

Synopsis

Love Regardless features actress Yvonne Okyere, Kwaku Eliott, Paulina Oduro, Zynnell Zuh, Helen Asante, KOD, Michelle MCkinney Hammond, Gbenga Titiloye and others…

The movie revolves around Ivory (a character played by Zynnell Zuh), a struggling singer with a Law degree whose dream of recording a hit song and breaking into the music industry seems impossible. While pursuing her music ambition, her mother (Paulina Oduro) hangs around her neck—asking that she finds a conventional job and ditch her dream.

Ivory meets Rachael (Yvonne Okyere) and somehow they become good friends—leading to Rachael finding Ivory a temporal job at divorced father’s small law firm.

From here, events take a very dramatic turn when the father meets and falls in love with Ivory. What happens next is attention-grabbing.

On April 18, 2015, Ghanaian actress Zynnell Zuh will premiere her second self-produced movie – Love Regardless – at the Silverbird Cinemas (Westhills Mall – Weija).

Moving away from the norm, the actress and her team (Box Pictures and Watts Camera Action) have decided to add more fun to the premiere. In view of that, there is going to be a celebrity popcorn sale dubbed ‘Love Regardless Celebrity Popcorn Sale.’

The entire cast and crew will be joined by some movie and showbiz personalities including Elikem, Pokello,Bassey, Lucky Lawson, Roselyn Ngissah, Irene Logan, Jasmine Baroudi, Caroline Sampson, Hogan, Mimi Divalish, Umar Krupp, Nii Soul, Shaker, Gemini and the Sleek Ambassador contestants to take over the sale of Popcorn, drinks, and tickets sales.

This is a move to socialize and take pictures with the movie patrons who on customary days do not get the opportunity to meet these celebrities.

Actor Prince David Osei Launches Clothing Line ‘Snipperdee Wear’! Check Out Pictures Of Stars Modelling In His Collections!

Actor Prince David Osei last Friday at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra joined celebrities with clothing line as he launched his P.D.O fashion collections, named ‘Snipperdee Wear’.

Present were various celebrities of Ghana’s movie industry who made special appearances on the catwalk to support him.

Among them were Kalsum Sinare, Vivian Achor, Yvonne Nelson, Jackie Appiah, Leila Djansi, Luckie Lawson, Nikki Samonas, Helen Asante, Rana, D Black and Azigiza.

The rest were Majid Michel, John Dumelo, Kofi Adjorlolo, Fred Nuamah, and James Gardner. Comedians David Oscar and Funny Face were emcees of the night. Music sensations Rana, Chase, Atumpan and St. Riya took the audience on a music journey with performances of their hit tracks.

The ceremony was the actor’s way of giving back to the society that contributed to his success. The occasion was therefore used to raise funds for his PDO Foundation to help the needy in society.

A similar event is expected to take place outside Ghana very soon. Friday’s event was not just exciting but amazing.

Host of the Mid Morning show on YFM, Sammy Forson is gradually joining the few already established media professionals to have hit the movie industry. He will soon be seen in an upcoming movie titled ‘Destiny’s Child’.

The former Citi FM presenter cum TV presenter makes a cameo appearance in the movie as an MC.

‘Destiny’s Child’ tells a story of three poor sisters whose father committed suicide, hence rendering them orphans.

The three sisters; Chalyne [Helen Asante], Nana Akua [Nana Akua Addo] and Denise [Roselyn Ngissah] loved music and at their young ages, they danced at various venues in Accra to make ends meet. Eventually they got their break – they became music stars after taking part in a musical competition.

Achieving stardom – from grass to grace, the devil sets in as they totally forgot about their mother and where they came from – the slums.

‘Destiny Child’ – from grass to grace talks about the personal choices people make that either grows or brings them down. It addresses various life problems as well as finding answers to these problems. It also tackles many issues that is ignored by newly-rich-people.

Good technical experts have been employed to work on ‘Destiny’s Child’. It’s being directed by Nollywood movie director Willie Ajenge and produced by Hause of Kadewe Productions.
